W
hen your beloved animal companion dies, you feel so many emotions: sadness, anger, guilt, emptiness, all mixed with love. You feel sure your heart will break, that life will never be the same. No matter how many years an animal shares its life with you, it never seems long enough. It seems all too brief. Brief yet everlasting all at the same time. The love you and your animal companion shared never dies. It lives on in your heart. This heart-to-heart connection gently embraces your soul forever.

Support Line:
Coordinated by co-founder of Monty’s Home, board member and volunteer, Eula Crispell, the support line for Monty’s Home has lots of referral and reference information. With experience as an RN in hospice care centers, Eula extends an empathetic and sympathetic ear to ease and help with difficult times. You can reach Eula by dialing 910.259.HOME (4663)

Additional Support Services:
We are pleased to offer two more avenues to help get you through challenging times in addition to the support line described above. Board member and volunteer, Elaine DeLise*, a therapist at New Realities in Wilmington, now offers a free, grief counseling session as part of the Rainbow Bridge Journey program. During that session, she teaches Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), an approach tapping into the connection between the body’s energies, emotions and physical health.

Donations to Monty’s Home gratefully accepted for both these services,
but are not required to participate.

If you’re hurting, you don’t have to be alone. Call Elaine at 910.470.0379 for an appointment.

*Elaine holds three Master’s degrees in psychology, psychotherapy and analysis along with other credentials, too numerous to list here. Find out more at www.newrealities.us.

Fee-Based Support:
Elaine DeLise offers a vast array of private, fee-based supportive and healing services. They include spiritually based life training, hypnosis, Reiki and other life enrichment programs. Elaine offers insightful, introspective counsel while passing through difficult times.
